USA Racquetball is creating the most complete collection of racquetball history ever assembled for a special racquetball museum in Houston, TX at the 2008 National Singles.
If you have any old magazines, balls, racquets, memoribilia from the 60's, 70's or 80's or anything that would enhance the museum, we are looking for people to donate or loan those items to display in Houston.

The National Office is working on some special events for the 2008 USA Racquetball National Singles Championships, May 21-26, 2008 in Houston, TX. We will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the USA Racquetball Hall of Fame and all the legendary inductees at the Grand Gala Banquet on Saturday night at the Hyatt. Nearly all of the living members of the HOF have committed to attend, don't miss your chance to meet and see the people who have been critical to the success and growth of our great sport.
There are a "limited number of special banquet tables" available, if you are interested in sponsoring one of these special tables, please contact Eddie Meredith at the e-mail address above.

U.S. National Singles Racquetball Championships, May 21-26, 2008

2008 USA Racquetball National Singles Championships

The 2008 National Singles Racquetball Championships and USA Racquetball Hall of Fame 35th Anniversary Celebration will begin May 21-26, 2008. The event will be held at the Downtown YMCA in Houston, Texas and will feature racquetball's most prestigious awards banquet. Make your plans today to be there as we celebrate the history of racquetball together with all of the sports living legends. This will be a once in a lifetime ceremony you won't want to miss that will feature a red carpet entrance and tuxedo attire worn by all.

Motorola IRT Pro Nationals

Huczek Wins Pro Nationals

Jack Huczek finished the Men's IRT season by winning the 2008 Motorola IRT Pro Nationals.The new four wall Lucite racquetball court made it's debut as spectators were able to watch from both side walls, the backwall, and the FRONT WALL for maximum viewing.

The Mens's IRT semifinals and finals were shown live on ESPN360 and are also available for replay. The event will also be shown on a future date on ESPN. For more information visit the links below.

Racquetball Magazine

March-April 2008 Racquetball Magazine Cover The March/April issue of Racquetball Magazine will contain information about the 2008 USA Racquetball National Singles Racquetball Championships also known as "The Finals". Also featured is the highlight and celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the Hall of Fame and its members. This will be a once in a lifetime ceremony at the National Singles in May.

There is also a recap of the 2008 USA Racquetball National Doubles Championships complete with photos and results.

This issue will also contain tips for Houston and also the official entry form for "The Finals" which is the only national championship for singles competition in open, skill, age group divisions.
Also results and follow-up from the IRT, WPRO, CPRT, and NMRA recent events.

Next State Association Meeting: Leadership Conference, Houston, TX Wednesday - May 21, 2008.
The next meeting for State Directors will be the Leadership Conference at the Hyatt Hotel in Houston, TX. The conference begins at 6pm in the Arboretum Rooms 4 & 5 on the 2nd floor. All attendees must RSVP to Terri Morse by May 14, 2008.
