Intercollegiate Championships Conclude
Oregon State University Defends Overall Team Championship

The 2009 USA Racquetball National Intercollegiate Racquetball Championships presented by Penn Racquet Sports concluded Saturday at the Arizona State University Student Rec Center in Tempe, Arizona.
The tournament featured over 330 of the best young college racquetball players representing 50 colleges and universities from across the country. The event was hosted at the ASU Rec Center, one of the premiere college clubs in the country with fourteen backwall glass championship courts and stadium style seating for all spectators. The facility and the staff make this event one of the most successful national tournaments hosted by a college or university.
Oregon State University would repeat as Overall Team Champion, duplicating their '08 championship from last year. Colorado State University-Pueblo would win the Men's Overall Team title and Oregon State University would also win the Women's Overall Team title.
Also up for grabs were one-year appoinments to the USA Racquetball Adult National Team. Winners of the men's and women's singles will be named to the National Team that competes and represents Team USA at all international and world competition. The event was also streamed live on the internet by Racquetballonline.tv.
The tournament is presented by Head/Penn and sponsored by Ektelon and Wilson.
