Rojas and Lindsay Win High School Nationals
Beaverton High School Wins Overall Team Championship

The
2010 US National High School Racquetball Championships concluded in Portland, OR as more than 40 high schools from across the country competed for coveted gold medals in singles and doubles divisions. The event was hosted at the Multnomah Athletic Club, one of the premiere clubs in the country with beautiful championship courts and an outstanding staff.
Also up for grabs were one year appoinments to the USA Racquetball Junior National Team as Marco Rojas defeated Dylan Reid, 15-3, 9-15, 11-9 in the Boy's Singles #1 Gold division. Amanda Lindsay, defeated Devon Pimentelli 15-8, 15-5 in the Girl's Singles #1 Gold division.
In doubles action, Jose Diaz/Marco Rojas paired up to defeat brothers Rick Charbonneau/ Ryan Charbonneau, 11-15, 15-10, 11-3 in the Boy's Doubles #1 Gold division.
Courtney Chisholm/Kayla Pereira defeated Amanda Lindsay/Taylor Oster, 15-3, 15-9 in the Girl's Doubles #1 Gold division and Amanda Lindsay/Rick Charbonneau defeated Joel Barshaw/Kaitlin Inglesby, 15-13, 15-11 in the Mixed Doubles #1 Gold division.
Winners of the boy's and girl's singles #1 Gold divisions will be named to the US Junior National Team that competes and represents Team USA at all international competition.
Beaverton High School (Beaverton, OR) was the big winner as they won the Overall Team Championship by capturing the most points for their high school team.
